THE BACKSTORY

Designer, Speaker, Educator, Creator, and…cheese monger.

A Bethlehem, PA native, I graduated from Marywood University with my BFA where I am currently an adjunct instructor in the design department. My previous design lives include designing print ads and managing multiple newsprint publications. After that, I became a web designer then a Creative Director at Net Driven for several years. I have served on the board of directors for the American Advertising Federation of NEPA since 2011, and I am currently President of the board.

I have spoken on branding, leadership, and mentoring at events such as: TEDxScranton, the TecBridge Entrepreneurship Institute, NEPA BlogCon, Ad Day at the University of Scranton, Marywood AAF + PRSSA Induction, Empower: NEPA Women’s leadership Conference, and the Wilkes-Barre Connect Conference

In my “spare” creative time, I create things with clay and branches at BrokenTwig. I have also developed a love for letterpress printing and digital illustration, which I don’t make nearly enough time for. I can also be seen in scattered performances with local community theaters in Scranton.

“Good UX often goes unnoticed because users mainly give feedback when they’re having a negative experience.”

I am currently manager of digital design at Posture Interactive, an agency that focuses on website design and development, video production, and branded content. I work with website layouts, UX, and branding on a daily basis to solve business challenges creatively.

I live in Scranton, PA with my husband and 3 fur children – a big bobcat named Ares, a little gray gremlin named Earl Gray, and a dachshund named Mars. My husband brews beer, I make cheese, and we spend the warmer months tending our garden together. Come on over – dinner with us is always a fermented adventure.
